We were originally in the car just in front of the bison on the right. We parked the car and stood just alongside the wall in the top picture. The Ranger estimated that the herd comprised just over 1000 Buffalo. A magnificent sight. It gave you a minor glimpse of what it would have been like for the Plains Indians in years gone by.. | Buffalo
