Problems again. Though I recovered my files my Hard Disk got overheated and I have had to reinstall Windows Vista and reorganise my files. Quite a fast Machine Now though I am still having trouble reinstalling some of my Adobe Software as I cant cancel my licences from my damaged Hard Disk

Well, here I am having recovered all my files.

I used DERescue Recovery Tool. It was very good however all the recovered files are numbered sequentially and as a result I am struggling to identify which file is which. The recovery was efficient and the files are saved in groups e.g. exe files, pdf files etc.

Still I am working again

I must apologise for the lack of blogs lately but I have suffered a massive crash on my server. I have purchased a 1T External Hard disk and am in the process of recovering my files.

The UK has had a fall of snow and the country is at a stand still. In days gone by people would have cleaned their pavements and roads and then gone to work instead of taboganning on a free holiday.

On a holiday to Arizona a few years ago I was caught in my shorts and t-shirt in the ‘first snow flurries of winter’ in the White Mountains, having to be rescued from 6 foot snow drifts. Well that’s another story.

I was just doing my Annual Appraisal of costings and I was looking at how much I have spent on Software.

Take an example. To sell PLR packages you need to download the packages (If you bought them).

Unzip them. e.g. Winzip
Edit the source code. e.g. Microsoft Office
Convert to PDF. e.g. Adobe Acrobat
Edit the images. e.g. Photoshop
Create Sales/Download pages e.g. Dreamweaver
Create Video e.g. Camtasia Studio
Upload the files to your website e.g. AceFTP

Those examples are the software packages that I use and the cost runs into thousands of dollars.

However, unless you are heavily into video, graphics or PDF Creation then you can carry out all of the above tasks for peanuts. Continue reading this post…
